It's time to bring some creativity to your cocktail glass! Also an eye-catcher as a non-alcoholic mocktail: With Red Basil you can give your drink a colourful look that will definitely impress your guests.

Harvest Red Basil and pick twigs of Summer Savory.
Grate the zest of the lemon and then squeeze the fruit for the juice. Blend all ingredients (apart from the lemon zest) in a mixer. Strain through a fine sieve or cheesecloth and pour into a bottle.
Fill glasses with some ice cubes. Pour about 30-50 ml of syrup over the ice. For the alcoholic version, add either prosecco or gin and tonic water. For the non-alcoholic version, top up with tonic water and sparkling water.
Garnish with lemon zest and a Basil leaf.
Tip: The syrup will last in the fridge for about a week.
