Grissini with Herbs

The classic snack homemade - with fresh Herbs!

  • 500 g wheat flour Type 405
  • 1 pack of dry yeast
  • 1/2 Seedbar Thyme
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • Sea salt
  • 275 ml water

Step 1

Put the flour, dry yeast, water, salt and olive oil in a bowl and mix. Harvest the Thyme, chop it and add it to the mixture.

Step 2

Cover the dough and let it rest for about an hour.

Step 3

Now take a bit of dough at a time and shape it into long grissini. Place on 2-3 baking trays covered with baking paper, sprinkle them with a some water and coarse sea salt.

Step 4

Bake in the preheated oven for approx. 15 minutes at 200 °C.

Tip: Instead of Thyme you can be creative in using different Greens, such as Summer Savory, which is included in the Seedbundle Awaken Senses, Sage, which is part of the Seedbundles Immunity Boost and Digestive Comfort, or Anise Hyssop, which is also part of the Seedbundle Digestive Comfort.
