A bit like liquorice, Anise, Fennel and Celery: Dill is sweet and fresh with slightly bitter undertones. The herb tastes good on potatoes, in fish dishes, but also in fermented milk and of course in tzatziki. It is not only delicious - the high amounts of manganese, iron, vitamin A and C are said to support digestion, to stop hiccups and to help with diabetes and menstrual cramps.
